GOSI contribution calculator
Work out the monthly GOSI social insurance contributions for an employee: what is deducted from the employee and what the employer pays, at the rates in force from July 2026.
How it is calculated
- Contributions are calculated on the basic salary plus the housing allowance. Transport and other allowances are not included.
- The contribution wage is at least SAR 1,500 for Saudis (SAR 400 for non-Saudis) and at most SAR 45,000 a month.
- Saudis registered before 3 July 2024: pension 9% + 9%, SANED 0.75% + 0.75%, occupational hazards 2% (employer). Total 9.75% employee, 11.75% employer.
- Saudis first registered on or after 3 July 2024: pension 10% + 10% from July 2026, rising by 0.5% each side every July to 11% in 2028. With SANED and hazards: 10.75% employee, 12.75% employer.
- Non-Saudis: occupational hazards only, 2% paid by the employer. Nothing is deducted from the employee.
This is an estimate for guidance only and is not legal advice. GCC nationals follow their home country's rates and are not covered here. If housing is provided in kind, check its contribution value with GOSI. Syncstead calculates this automatically for every employee.
